Since recently retiring from teaching kindergarten after 35 years at LaGrange Highlands Elementary School, Marianne received her 200 hour yoga teaching certificate by studying at FocusOm in Brookfield. She currently teaches yoga classes for adults and children in the western suburbs.
Vince loves being a personal trainer! He strives to help his personal training clients to find their inner drive and reach their best potential.
He brings enthusiasm and excitement to his group classes while fostering an encouraging community in the class setting to help his neighbors rise above the challenges he puts before them.
Halle McCormick has been teaching group fitness classes since 2004. She teaches everything from cycle, bootcamps, circuit and core. She is a certified group fitness instructor through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and a certified Personal Trainer through SCW. She is energetic and enthusiastic! She will bring a positive energy to the class and will motivate you through your sessions.
Mindy has been teaching indoor cycle since 2013. She strives to make her classes as challenging as possible, while demonstrating and encouraging perfect technique. She is both Mad Dogg certified and Stages Cycle certified. She has finished 5 marathons and led marathon training groups for many years. She lives in LaGrange with her husband and 4 teenage children.
I strongly believe in an active lifestyle regardless of age. After having my first child, I realized the value I could pass on to others. Starting my fitness career by teaching Spin classes, my passion for health and fitness, coupled with my desire to teach others, led me to becoming an ACE certified Personal Trainer. Over the years, sharing my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with countless clients has motivated me even more.
Jenny is an ACE certified group fitness instructor. She has been active in working out, running and dance since her high school days which set the stage for her lifelong passion for fitness, nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. She believes being a group fitness instructor is more than leading clients during the hour long class. She believes in building relationships to inspire people to take fitness to their edge, while still having fun!
From beginner to advanced, Julie cares about her clients and puts their well-being at the forefront of fitness. She is versatile, energetic, funny and strong. Julie fosters relationships to create a positive, fun community at The Local Workout.
Nancy Cummings has a been a Group Fitness Instructor and a Certified Spinning Instructor since 2003. She is trained in both CPR and AED - her fitness interests are weight training, biking and yoga. "I'm personally motivated by the feeling of 'we're all in this together' in a group fitness class. The expression on people's faces after a hard workout is inspiring. It's a look of both pride and disbelief at what they've just accomplished.
